Organized by POPULAR Book Company Malaysia and co-organized by Sin Chew Media Corporation and MCA Life Long Learning Secretariat, BookFest@Malaysia is an annual mega event that has grown to be one of the region’s largest international book fairs, since its inception in 2006.
It is widely recognized as Malaysia’s largest book exhibition and it will be held every year for 9-days duration at the KLCC Convention Center, with a total exhibition area of over 100,000 square feet.

Hundreds of publishing houses, book and stationery distributors from countries all over the Asia region will be displaying their latest products in the 500 booths set up in 5 exhibition halls. Lots of bargains and special rebates on books, multi-media products, music CDs, stationery and gift items are also up for grabs at this mega exhibition.
With the 2009 theme “reading is inspiring” a series of fun-filled and exciting stage events, meet-the-author sessions, concernts, arts performances and contests will also be organized during the 10 days event, to be enjoyed by all exhibition visitors.
