Q: I remember the Adult 1-year card is only RM 10 & why its increase to RM 12?
A : The membership fees been revised from 1 May 2008 & the reason is to encourage members to apply or Renew to Adult Card 3-Year. We have reduced the fees for Adult 3-year card from RM 30 to RM 25.

Q: What about the student Card? There is no more 1-year & 3-year card?
A:Yes, but there is NO CHANGE in the annual student membership fee i.e. RM 5 per year it is now RM10 for 2 years.

Q:What are the benefits offered to POPULAR Card members?
A:Members can enjoy immediate 10% savings for all normal priced items. 20% savings on monthly POP Choice (English titles) & POPULAR Recommendation (Chinese titles). Free POP Club Magazine, 4 issues a year. Enjoy discount and privileges at our participating POPULAR Connection merchants. Our POPULAR Card can also be used in Singapore & Hong Kong but it's subjected to the local terms & conditions.

Q:Do I have to present my card when I purchase books?
A:Yes, you have to present your card to entitle for the discount offered. Otherwise, no discount will be given to you.

Q:How to apply as POPULAR Card member?
A:Please fill up the POPULAR Card application form and submit the relevant membership fee to the cashier counter. You will be given a Temporary Card immediately and this card will be valid for 3 months before you receive your permanent card.

REPLACEMENT CARD

Q:I lost my POPULAR Card; can a replacement card be sent to me?
A:Please fill in the replacement application form & pay RM 10, you will straight away get your Temporary Card, and within 3 months you will be able receive your Permanent Card.

Q:Can someone else use my lost card?
A:Don't worry, we will block the lost card & it cannot be used anymore.

RENEWAL

Q:Do I need to pay if I would like to renew my card?
A:Yes, you have to pay the annual fees.

Q:My card will expire in July 2008, but I would like to renew it now in May 2008, is this possible?
A:Yes, you can renew your card earlier. We will extend the validity period from the existing card to New Card as long as it is for the same card type. Example: Adult 1-year card can be renewed earlier to Adult 1-year card; Student Card 2-year cannot be renewed to an Adult Card 1-year.

Q:Do you send reminder before my existing card expire?
A:Yes, we will usually send reminder to members at least 1 month before the existing card expire.

Q:Why do I still need to fill up a lot of details in the application form surely you should have the details in your records?
A:This is to update our record in the system but you may only wish to submit the following particulars in the Renewal Form:
