For more than four decades, POPULAR Malaysia has remained a familiar and trusted name among Malaysians. This strong connection with the community was recently celebrated when POPULAR was honoured at the Putra Brand Awards 2025 in the Retail Category on 23 Jan, a recognition of its enduring place in the hearts of Malaysians.
As a People’s Choice Award endorsed by MATRADE and organised by 4As Malaysia (The Association of Accredited Advertising Agents Malaysia), the Putra Brand Awards are widely regarded as Malaysia’s only consumer-driven brand recognition platform, celebrating the brands that Malaysians trust and connect with the most. Last year, more than 52,000 voluntary responses were submitted, with voters selecting their favourite brands based on their personal experiences across 24 product and service categories. POPULAR had previously received the award in 2017, 2018 and 2024, making this latest recognition another proud milestone its journey.
