Johor Bahru, 24 Dec – After almost 11 years serving millions of customers at its old premises on the ground floor of AEON Mall Tebrau City – one of Johor Bahru’s largest malls with a post-expansion retail area of 1,000,000 sq ft - the HARRIS outlet has relocated to an even trendier mega store on the 1st floor. As an affiliate brand of POPULAR, HARRIS is a household name especially amongst JB residents, and this move will allow it to provide customers with an even more comfortable browsing experience.

“Under the Tree” Concept
2017 will mark the 20
th anniversary of POPULAR’s continued presence in Johor. The re-launching of this HARRIS outlet brings the total number of stores operated by POPULAR in the state to ten - five (5) in Johor Bahru, one (1) respectively at Kulai, Segamat, Kluang, Batu Pahat and Muar. POPULAR has gone to great lengths to provide customers with the best experience possible. Customers will delight in the “Under the Tree” concept, defining this new HARRIS outlet. The “tree” in the middle of this outlet is the “tree of knowledge”, where families and people can gather under, to immerse in a pleasant reading experience. Parents will enjoy relaxing with their children under this “tree”; chatting, reading and joking away, whilst pursuing knowledge.

Furthermore, HARRIS carries more than 55,000 titles of books giving readers a great selection of good reads. Besides that, customers could enjoy an extensive range of Gadgets & IT and Urban Write Series products. Urban Write Series offers an impressive amount of unique selections such as art paper, scrapbook accessories, fancy stationeries, greeting cards, gift sets, trinkets from around the world including UK, Japan, Korea and USA.

This fun event allows participants to pick selected stationery products in the designated area, within the HARRIS outlet. Participants - consisting of famous 988FM deejays Jason, May and Biau Ming, and 7 lucky customers - are given 1 minute to grab the products and return to the starting point, using the shopping basket provided.
